Racist or something?

This is the second time in a month that something I see/read about is carried on through out several different mediums.  The last time this happened it was: kancho.  I had seen it done on a Korean drama I was watching.  I also saw a blog post about it.  But before that even happened I had mentioned kancho to a fellow blogger.  What was up with so much kancho suddenly?!  I dunno....  But I digress.

A job well done...

Sometimes the best thanks you can get for a job well done is the self satisfaction you feel for succeeding.  The feeling of doing something good, something right.

As some of you know I have been working on-site at a high school, covering for a gal out on maternity leave.  Working with teenagers has proven to be much easier than I expected.  I had a nightmare that these kids would be like I was and I would have to deal with them.  Some cruel cosmic joke on me for being an ass when I was younger I suppose.  Luckily it has been going well... I probably just jinxed myself.

I had the opportunity to go home with a feeling of victory a few days ago.  I did something right, something good.  I saved a life.

The Harlem what?

The Harlem shake, originally called the albee, is a dance introduced in 1981 by a Harlem resident named "Al B". The dance was initially referred to as "albee" after his name, but later became known as the Harlem shake as its prominence grew beyond the neighborhood. The dance became mainstream in 2001 when G. Dep featured the Harlem shake in his music video "Let's Get It". - Swiped from Wikipedia
