Wasting Money

If you have money to burn by all means do so.  If you have a hobby you like to sink money into, do it!  It's good to have a hobby.  Some people save up their extra money and take a vacation.  I do both, I use spare cash on hobbies and vacationing.  It's fun money, I use it on something fun... something other than bills that have to get paid.

Audra's Birthday Party

My niece just celebrated her 5th birthday this weekend.  So I took some pictures at her party of her having fun with her lovely guests.  All the kiddos were really well behaved and seemed to have a great time.  Why wouldn't they?  The weather was perfect, there were plenty of kids to play with and cake. 

I needed a gift bag.

Tomorrow is my niece Audra's birthday.  I found these neat little toys called Zoobles and I figured they would be perfect for a five year old.  I kinda wanted to buy some for myself.  Technically I could have and then gifted them to myself later this month for my birthday.  Alas I decided to skip getting more because I would end up just playing with them instead of wrapping Audra's gift.  Or worse I may have been tempted to open hers and play with them too!  

Once I got home I realized I had no gift bag or even a box to put these critters in.  There is no way I was going to just wrap these individually.  The packaging would make for a sloppy looking wrap job.  So I decided I would make a gift bag.  Yep, I figured I had stuff around the house to make a bag.  Never done it before and I am so proud of myself I am sharing my results.

Happy Birthday Dom!

Today is Dom's birthday, he is 2 years old now. Saturday was his birthday party and here are some pictures and a few videos. I think he had a fun day, but then again when is it not fun if there are presents and cake. Right?

Today is my birthday!

Adrian took me to Yanagi's for birthday lunch. It was yummy and it made me wish I had more later because I got hungry shortly after having eaten.

Angelica got me a vinyl toy which I think is awesome. I like Hello Kitty too, but not Hipster Kitty. I just can't seem to get my head around how stupid this whole hipster thing is. I just wanna punch people so I supposed I should just stay in doors to avoid headaches and seeing stupid hipsters.

And I found this gnome sized grocery cart. It was in the break room at work and I wish I knew who it belonged to. It was gone by late afternoon and I really wish I could have used it with some little dolls or something and taken some pictures. Boo!


Also in other unrelated news: Pussified kids really piss me off!

I think more than the kids I hate their coddling parents. Relax people, children are resilient... let them learn, get sick, have their cuts and scrapse. Shit, it builds character!
