I had reached it.
At the ripe old age of 7 I decided I had had enough of playing games. I was tired of trying to play the game for the prize and losing to brown nosing, little, cheating kids. I was ahead of the game since before I started school. In kindergarten I was sent to study with the first graders to practice reading because learning ABC's was something to be learned at home. I was already far ahead of the kids that were sitting in the play house peeing their pants barely capable of scribbling half of the letters in their name. Don't parents prepare their kids for school before sending them? I guess that would partially explain the dumbing down of America.

Hohenschwangau und Neuschwanstein
"From where they stood, they could see the castle."
- Frank Yerby
From where we stood we could not see the magnificent view you see above. But the castles were impressive and a sight to behold in person. On the right you see Hohenschwangau Castle and to the left you see Neuschwanstein Castle. Neuschwanstien is what the castle in Disney's Sleeping Beauty was modeled after. It is a great looking castle but I will have to admit Hohenschwangau was much more impressive.
Driving in Germany. Revisted.
How did it go you ask?
Pretty damn well I think.
I came back in one piece and not a single dent, scratch or even bird poop on the car. I don't know if anyone remembers but I was not feeling confident about driving in another country. Check it out, some in town driving while listening to music.

More cannibalism?!
And I thought dubstep was a bad trend!!! Ok, ok dubstep sucks and so does cannibalism. What the hell is going on out there?!
Last week I was shocked about consenting cannibalism. This week it gets better. Or worse? Worse.

He did what with his junk?!?!?!?!
He cut it off!
He had his penis and testicles surgically REMOVED.
Who the hell does that shit?
Mao Sugiyama did it.
Mao Sugiyama did it.
And ya know what he did with his removed naughty bits?
Stop reading right here if you are easily grossed out.

He cooked his genitals and served them up for dinner for about $250 dollars a plate.

KZ-Gedenkstätte Dachau
Or for the non-German readers: Dachau Concentration Camp
Not really much I can say that hasn't already been said about concentration camps during the 1930's through 1940's. So this post will be image heavy and I loaded the pictures as large as I could so you can see what I saw. I want to share what I got to see while visiting Germany. I will add a few little bits of information and translation but for the most part this post will be mainly pictures.
***Warning: Some of these pictures and descriptions may bother you so before continuing on, you have been warned. This was not a pretty time for humanity!***
Giant plaque by the bus stop on the way to the visitor center before getting to the concentration camp. TIP: Get the audio guide at the visitor center, it is worth it! The audio guide is 3.50 Euro. You will also need to leave your ID or passport as deposit for their audio guide.

Bunny! Bunny!
I guess I haven't really been in the mood to write much this last week. And I really don't much feel like it right now. Maybe I am in a funk, maybe something is on my mind. But I figure I can throw some pictures up of Usagi while with me in Germany. At least until I lost him on Easter, I lost him at the train station in Wiesbaden.
Originally Usagi was supposed to come with me to Germany and he was supposed to help me chronicle my journey using MobilyTrip. I had a test run with the app before I left and it seemed like it would do well to track my journey and to post pictures of where I was along the way. Well it failed me, so now I will load the pictures the hard way (or rather easy way since the app was utter shit).

Bad hair days.
EVERYONE has them. I have friends that always seem to have great hair days but even they complain about having bad hair days from time to time. I never notice it being a bad hair day, their hair always looks so nice!
I used to think the older I got, the easier it would be to style my hair. It hasn't gotten any easier. And today I found out that it just won't get any easier. I had gone into the break room at work and over heard a conversation a few ladies were having over hair.

Religious I am not.
I wanted to post a few pictures of crosses that I saw while in Germany. I am not religious but I happened to enjoy the geometry of the cross (in all variations). It's amazing to see the variations in crosses and uses for them. I hope you enjoy the ones I was able to photograph. I will have to give fair warning, many of the places I visited did not allow flash and were dimly lit. So some of the pictures don't look so great and I don't have the steadiest of hands. I guess you can say that these photos are pretty much fail. But they are part of a memory for me since it was part of my experience while I was in Germany.

Winner, winner! Chicken dinner.
I made this for dinner the other night. All of the veggies in the picture came from the Blosser Urban Garden. I figure I should share the recipe for this even though it was a bit of a daunting task to get my dinner made. My oven decided to blow the bottom coil! So originally my plan was to cook this all at 450 degrees for about 35 minutes. However I am not sure what the oven temp was but I ended up cooking the taters and chicken for about an hour and fifteen minutes. If your oven works I don't recommend cooking for that long!!!

Buying Local Buy Fresh
In an effort to support my community, eat more produce and eat organic; I decided to stop buying produce at the chain grocery stores in my area. A friend of mine mentioned last year that she was getting a box/bag full of organic, local grown, produce on a weekly basis from the Blosser Urban Garden. There were a few times when she got some items that were not going to be used in her house and I took that opportunity to have organic at home (Thanks Amy!). I really liked the produce and figured, heck I will give it a try myself.
So this year I signed up. I am only getting the produce bimonthly. There is no possible way my husband and I could eat all of the produce in time if we got the goods weekly! Here is what I got just this last week:

This is almost all of it. I also got radishes, oranges, organic coffee and a bag of spring mix for salads. I think my favorite part is that the produce I get is a surprise! I never know what I will be getting. That may be daunting for some but I am up to the cooking challenge to make something wonderful with what I have. I should be on Iron Chef: Lazy Video Gamer Edition

Fat Attack Part Zwei
In a previous post I promised a few more pictures of food and beverages from Germany. After reviewing the pictures my sister had it seems that it's mostly beverages not so much food. So for your viewing pleasure I will start with something that is familiar but not so familiar.

So upset, I am shaking!
I woke up today in a great mood. On my list of things to do:
- Go to work.
- Go to the courthouse and pay my fine like a responsible person who fucks up is supposed to do.
- Get my dogs some flea medicine and food.
- Go back to work.
- Fix up lasagnas tonight to give to a few people that have been promised some.
